Do Citizens of Ghana need a visa to Vietnam?
Ghana passport holders are required to apply for a valid visa to enter Vietnam with tourism and business purposes.
– Free Visa will be applied for Ghana passport holders if they travel to Phu Quoc island and stay in the island only – Vietnam Visa will be exempted for 30 days of staying . A visa is required if traveling outside the island. (Please check instruction how to get free Vietnam Visa to Phu Quoc island).
Vietnam Entry Requirement applies for citizens of Ghana
To visit Vietnam, travelers with Ghana passports should meet the entry requirements:
– Ghana passport holders must have a valid passport and a visa (or pre-approval for a visa on arrival) to enter Vietnam.
– Your passport must be valid for six months beyond your planned stay, and it must have at least 2 blanks pages, 1 blank page for the Vietnam visa and 1 page for the entry and exit immigration stamp.
– If you arrive in Vietnam without an appropriate visa or pre-approval for a visa on arrival, you will be denied entry.
* Important notes: To enter Vietnam, citizens of Ghana must hold the passport which is valid more than 6 months from the entry date Vietnam. In case your passport is valid less than 6 months, please consider to extend or renew your passport before apply for the Vietnam Visa.
